Simple designs are Keds best assets but combining that with Opening Ceremony's flair is sure to get some serious attention.



OC added some of their high-end flair to a big set of new Keds canvas lows. Each has their unique details like striped laces or the use of bandana, denim and other fabrics. Expect them later this season.

Vans Vault Mok LX

Part of the Fall collection for Vans Vault are some new Mok LX sneakers.



The pack consists of two Chukkas and four Slip-ons. They officially release next month at Vans Vault retailers.

Comme des Garçons PLAY x Converse

Comme des Garçons PLAY and Converse have teamed up for a special collection of low and high All Stars.



Inspired by the vintage Chuck Taylor model from the 1950’s, they will come in two colors & styles. They are set to release this month for $100 USD at all Comme des Garçons & select Comme des Garçons PLAY retailers worldwide.

Nike Dunk High Black/Hot Red

These have just been released but will probably fall under the radar due to the Alife Rivington Club x Nike Dunk Hi dropping soon. I'm really feeling this design, nothing like simply designed Nike Sneakers with a touch of colour on the soles. They also dropped a red swoosh logo on the tongue for everyone checking them out from the front.

UNDFTD x Gourmet

Undefeated once again make their presence felt with an upcoming collaboration alongside Gourmet, making its debut at the COMPASS Tradeshow in Vegas.



Taking one of the brand’s minimalistic models, Undefeated work up a mostly white epi leather colorway with black midsoles/tongue and red laces. Their signature 5-strike logo is also embossed on the sneaker’s outer side panel. Stay tuned for further details including a release date.

Exclusive: Sekure D Interview

We recently had the chance to catch up with one of the best Sneaker customizers in the world Sekure D to see what been happening at the dungeon...



FK: Why Sekure D?
SD: It’s a really long story, like Matrix trilogy long.



FK: Can you describe your creative process?
SD: I struggle to do this because it’s always so different, lets just say it usually includes me sitting in the studio all day and night, undisturbed, plus a few of the following, loud music, vodka, some of my favourite DVD’s, comics and cartoons. To be a little more specific I don’t always sketch before I start painting, I would say less then fifty per cent of the time for sneakers but almost always for canvas. I have created so many pairs of custom sneakers that I really understand the structure and paneling of them and don’t always feel it is necessary.



FK: What are some of your influences?
SD: Graffiti, comic books, superheroes, old Nintendo video games, lowbrow art, the future

FK:What do you do besides customizing kicks?
SD: Paint, play basketball, watch a plethora of DVD’s and hang out with Al Simmons, Alec Holland and Walter Kovacs



FK: What traits do your friends have in common?
SD: Interesting question, I guess a sense of humor, honesty and alcoholism

FK: What have you got planned for the future?
SD: I intend to continue exhibiting canvas artwork on a more regular basis whether that is to have solo exhibitions or participate in group shows as well as carry on producing custom sneakers. Having the opportunity to travel and show my work is what I look forward to.

Following up the Mr. Cartoon AF1 and the Footscape Woven, the LIVESTRONG x Futura x Nike Dunk High FLOM will release this Saturday, July 18th. These will retail for $150 and 100% of the proceeds go towards the Lance Armstrong Foundation for Cancer research.

Jean-Michel Basquiat x Reebok Freestyle + Ex-O-Fit-Hi Limited Collection

In honor of Basquiat's accomplishments and as a celebration of his life, Reebok is introducing a capsule collection bearing the late artist’s most famous works. Feature Reebok Freestyle, in black or white, with an all over pattern taken from Basquiat’s 1987 piece Pegasus.

Another edition is another Reebok classic, the Ex-O-Fit-Hi, in another all-over print treatment, this time adopted from Untitled (aka Crown) from 1983.

Both exclusive models are now available, in limited quantity, at the Parisian boutique Colette.

Nike Jordan Spiz'ikes - Cookies 'n' Cream Colorway

Images (well at least one) have surfaced of a hellllla dope new colorway of the extremely popular, Spike Lee sneaker child that is the Spiz'ike.
The black on black gives it a nice retro look, and the Cookies and Cream midsole x Chicago Red trim are a perfect complement.

Supra is back at it with the GBR Skytop. The design makes use of Green Croc, Black Suede and Black, Red and Gold Patent Leather.
