Vans and Taka Hayashi

Vans and Taka Hayashi teamed up for the No Quarter LX collaboration, complete with the artistic flair that Taka Hayashi has brought to both the streetwear and sneaker realms.

Definitely available for purchase (just hit up a Vans retailer), these shoes combine an interesting Native American vibe with military-inspired accents to round out the black and embossed upper. Large white sole for contrast.

Taka Hayashi x Vans

I've always mentioned how i love Vans and its simplicity but this collab just smashes the nail in the coffin for me! Taka Hayashi teams up with vans to release this native american x 60s italian style footwear inspired piece due in August. This has got to be one of Vans best releases to date i must admit. Style, quality and comfort (not that i've tried it on myself) but it looks like a shoe that you would rock everywhere and at any occasion.
Subtle and classy, definitely one of my favs!
Vans are killin' it....

Vans Varsity Half Cab Pro Pack

I'm sure everyone's seen the Blue/Red/White color-way of the Varsity themed Vans Half cab that was recently released. Now expanding their pack with 2 more color ways, the red/white/black and the black/white half cabs, this pack is something all vans fans should get up on, including myself.

Eric Elms x Vans

Eric Elms owner and founder of Adorn in Brooklyn based design studio recently did a collab with Vans and the results were stunning. One of the simplest, and this is just my personal opinion, multi functional shoe ever design by elm and vans. To be honest, you can rock these in a suit, shorts, or jeans and they will look slick as hell. Personally i've been a fan of vans simple design for years now and this collab has just pushed vans up a notch, adding to their already sick line of shoes.

Black canvas (my personal favorite), teal & maroon suede, plus adding to this collab are 2 different tshirt designs. The Californian based Vans must be really proud of this release. Hitting stores in july 2009. Keep your eyes peeled for them!

Vans Lo Pro's

With the revival of canvas being played out across the world for the last 5+ years now, people who know whats what in the game... are still pumping out more colours and fresh ways to re-invent the classics.

Vans is no exception. The Low Authentic is another way for them to capture an increasingly savvy canvas market out there. Gone are the days where an Old Skool or a Chuck Taylor were the only neccessities in the wardrobe for casual canvas. Sihloutettes are getting slimmer and foxing height is on the way south. These authetics with a slim toe bumper and great colour pallette are a winner across summer or winter for anyone and everyone! Perfect!
