Oliver says he’s rounded the front end to prevent pedestrians from injuries and the choice of a right or left steering wheel setting is possible, making it suitable for US and European roads.



The car tires appear to be slim silhouetted due to a “shorter sidewall height, a larger wheel diameter and a fine line between the rim and the tire’s carcass.” The chassis is constructed out of lightweight aluminum and carbon to keep the car light and fuel efficient. Suitable to be equipped with “in-wheel drive” for each tire, the car design touts the eco-friendly tag by including hybrid/fuel cell propulsion to guarantee zero emissions.

Ferarri 458 Italia

Replacing the already classic F430, Ferrari has just unveiled the beautiful all-new 458 Italia.



The new mid-engine features a new direct-injected 4.5-liter V8 ups the power ante to 570 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque and features the same seven-speed dual clutch as the California. The main structure is made out of aluminum keeping the weight to just 3,042 pounds.



Acceleration to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes just 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 202 mph and becoming the first ever production Ferrari V8 to top the 200 mph barrier. The 458’s official live unveiling is scheduled for September 15th at the Frankfurt Auto show.

Audi R8 based PPI Razor GTI

This Audi R8-based PPI Razor GTR is one of the most extreme R8s we’ve ever seen. World premiered by German tuners from PPI Automotive at this year’s Top Marques show in Monaco, the latest model builds on the success of the original with the main focus on optimizing the power-to-weight ratio. Extensively clad in carbon fiber to lose over 521 lbs, the new R8 PPI Razor GTR promises to improve downforce and aerodynamic stability thanks to an aggressive wide bodykit.

But the main interest is under the hood. Featuring a specially engineered supercharger for a stock 4.2-liter V8 engine, a ram-charged sport air filter system and a high performance stainless steel exhaust, the slim super car outputs 580hp (600Nm of torque), goes naught to 100km/h in 3.7 seconds and tops at 332 km/h. It’s a mind-blowing ride for those in need of a pure shot of adrenaline…

Bitch fight in the car world

BMW released an ad for its new 3-series by congratulating Audi for winning the South African car of the Year award. Certainly an esteemed honor in it’s own right, but BMW signed the congratulations with the line, “From the winner of the world car of the year award 2006.” Ohhhh, snap!



Audi's PR guerrillas, not willing to sit idly by while being assaulted in the print realm, fought back with the ferocity expected from the German carmaker. They parried BMW's thrust with an ad proclaiming that the "world car of the year award" was nice, but we've kicked butt at LeMans for six consecutive years, so put that in your pipe and smoke it!



... and what does Subaru do?
They jumped in with an ad proclaiming, "Well done to Audi and BMW for winning the beauty contest. From the winner of the 2006 International Engine of the Year Winner." Burn!



Obviously the big B would want a piece of the cake as well...and this is what Bentley replied with...
